Hurghada Marina

Hurghada Marina

What area is it located in and how to get there on your own

Marina Boulevard in Hurghada is rightly called the cleanest and most beautiful public place in this city. After the noisy Sheraton, having passed the checkpoint (for free), you immediately find yourself on an island of well-groomed conditions and well-being, where you can spend your time in peace without the harassment of street barkers and beggars. This is an ideal place to relax and walk along the harbor with moored ships. The embankment is located in the Sakkala area, within walking distance of the most famous streets of Hurghada - Sheraton and Sherry Street.

Here are some ways to get to Marina:
  •  Local minibuses are the most economical way to travel around the city. The fare will cost you from 3 Egyptian pounds to 7 per passenger, depending on the distance of the hotel from the Marina.

How to use: How to use: To stop a minibus, just raise your hand on the side of the road. Minibuses do not always go all the way to the Marina, but usually they pass through the city center, from where you can walk in 10-15 minutes. This method of moving around the city is usually used by experienced tourists who already know at least a little about the city and do not hesitate to ask the local population for directions, since in some cases a transfer from one minibus to another is required.

  • Regular taxi (blue-orange). You just need to raise your hand at the side of the road and negotiate with the driver. This trip will cost on average from $1 to $3 and also depends on your location in Hurghada.

Advice: Discuss the cost before boarding, clarify that the price is for all passengers, and not for each one, and have some small money to pay without change. If you can't agree on the first try, we recommend not insisting, but simply stopping another car with a more accommodating driver.

  • Online taxi ordering via apps. The most popular in Egypt are Uber, Kareem and In Drive. Unfortunately, here too the prices are conditional, since some cunning drivers try to demand from tourists amounts higher than calculated in the application.
  • And one more option is book a transfer. Fun Stay Travel agency will be happy to arrange a comfortable and safe roundtrip transfer for you. Just contact us and move around Hurghada with reliable experienced drivers in a good air-conditioned car.

Entertainment: Various attractions and entertainment venues open in the evening, including bars and nightclubs. Street artists and musicians can also be seen on the embankment.

    Disadvantages:

So the choice is up to you. If you are looking for tranquility and want to enjoy the views, it is better to come to the Marina during the day. If you want to experience a lively atmosphere, have fun and enjoy evening activities, evening time is the perfect choice.
